Twice a member of the United States Olympic field hockey team, Marcia Pankratz is one of the most decorated female athletes ever to compete in the Big 10 Conference. She was named the conference’s field hockey "Athlete of the Decade" after a standout collegiate career at the University of Iowa (1982-85) where she was twice honored as Iowa’s Female Athlete of the Year and led the Hawkeyes to the NCAA Championship Game in 1984.

Marcia founded her consulting business 4-Goals after spending 9 seasons as the head field hockey coach at the University of Michigan. When she retired from coaching in 2005, she left as the winningest coach in Michigan field hockey history having guided the Wolverines to the NCAA Championship in 2001.
